Privacy Policy
Application GFX Tools
Last updated:
1. Introduction
GFX Tools ("we", "our", "the application") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our application, including the data we process to provide core features such as ad-free purchase syncing and skin file downloads.
2. About Skins: Visual Customization, Not Cheating
GFX Tools helps you download and apply cosmetic skin files for supported games. To be clear about what this means:
- Skins are visual-only. A skin changes how a character, vehicle, or item looks on your own screen — its texture, model, or appearance. It does not change hit boxes, damage values, movement speed, cooldowns, drop rates, matchmaking, or any other mechanic that affects how the game is played or how it performs against other players.
- This is the same category of customization used across many mainstream games and apps — for example, custom texture/resource packs in Minecraft, or custom bus liveries/skins in Bus Simulator Indonesia (BUSSID). In both cases, the underlying game logic, rules, and fairness are completely unaffected; only the visual presentation changes.
- No effect on other players. A skin applied through GFX Tools is visible only on the device that applied it (or, in games where cosmetic mods are client-side by design, purely as a local visual layer). It does not alter game files in a way that grants an advantage, does not interact with other players' devices, and does not touch matchmaking, scoring, or any server-side data.
- Not a hack, mod-menu, or gameplay modifier. GFX Tools does not inject code into a game's running process, does not modify game logic or values, and does not provide any competitive advantage. Its skin feature is comparable to reskinning tools or appearance packs commonly offered by fan communities for many popular games, used purely for personal visual customization.
This distinction — cosmetic/visual changes versus gameplay-affecting changes — is also why the storage and system-level permissions described later in this policy are limited to placing visual asset files in the correct local folder, and are never used to alter game mechanics or affect other users.
3. Data We Collect
GFX Tools does not require account registration and does not ask for your name, email address, or physical location. However, to provide certain features, the application does process the following limited data:
| Data Type | Purpose | Where It's Stored |
|---|---|---|
| Device identifier (Android ID / installation ID) | To recognize your device and link it to your ad-removal purchase, so your purchase status can be restored if you reinstall the app or switch screens | Google Firebase Realtime Database |
| Purchase status & package data (e.g. 7/15/30-day ad-free package, purchase timestamp, expiry date) | To verify and sync whether ads should be shown or hidden on your device | Google Firebase Realtime Database |
| Advertising ID & ad interaction data | To display and measure advertising (via Google AdMob) | Google AdMob / Google's advertising systems |
| Files you choose to access via storage permission | To let you download, save, or import skin/game-related files you select | Stored locally on your device only; not uploaded to our servers |
| System-level actions performed via Shizuku or iADB (if you choose to enable them) | To perform local, on-device operations such as locating restricted storage folders or applying device-level settings you request. Limited to your own device; does not affect other players or online gameplay | Not stored or transmitted by us — processed locally on your device only |
We do not collect your name, email address, contact list, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information.
4. Firebase & Device Identifier
GFX Tools uses Google Firebase Realtime Database to store and sync ad-free purchase status. When you purchase an ad-removal package, the app generates or uses a device identifier and stores it together with your purchase package and expiry information in Firebase. This is done so that:
- Your ad-free status can be verified each time you open the app,
- Your purchase is not lost if the app is reinstalled or app data is reset,
- No manual account/login is required to enjoy a purchased ad-free period.
This device identifier is not linked to your name, email, or other personal identity. It functions only as a technical key to match your device with its purchase record. Firebase data is transmitted and stored securely via Google's infrastructure and is subject to Google Firebase's Privacy and Security policies.
5. Storage / File Access Permission
GFX Tools may request storage-related permissions (such as access to a folder you choose via Android's Storage Access Framework, or legacy storage permission on older Android versions) in order to:
- Download and save skin files or related content that you explicitly choose to download,
- Detect the correct game installation folder so downloaded files are placed in the right location,
- Let you import or manage files related to the app's utility features.
Files accessed through this permission are handled locally on your device. GFX Tools does not read, scan, upload, or transmit the contents of your personal files (photos, documents, etc.) to our servers. Access is limited to the specific folders/files needed for the app's download and file-management features, and is only triggered by your explicit action (e.g. tapping "Download").
6. Shizuku & iADB (ADB Debugging) Permission
GFX Tools offers optional advanced features (such as helping the app read the correct game installation folder, or assisting with settings that Android normally restricts to system-level access) that require elevated permissions granted through Shizuku or iADB (wireless ADB debugging). These are well-known, open-source Android permission frameworks that let apps request specific system-level actions without needing root access.
- What it is used for: local, on-device operations only — such as accessing storage locations that are otherwise restricted, or applying device/display settings you request within the app.
- Scope of access: any action performed through Shizuku or iADB is limited to your own device and is initiated only when you explicitly enable and authorize it. It does not grant access to other people's devices, accounts, or data.
- No effect on other players or online gameplay: these permissions are used strictly for local device/file operations (e.g. locating a folder, adjusting a device-level display setting). GFX Tools does not use Shizuku or iADB to modify game logic, inject code into the game's runtime, alter game files in a way that affects fairness, or interact with other players, matches, or the game's servers in any way. Nothing enabled through Shizuku or iADB gives you, or any other user, an advantage over other players — the scope is limited entirely to your own device environment.
- Your control: Shizuku/iADB access must be manually activated by you outside the app (via the Shizuku app or a wireless debugging pairing step), and can be revoked by you at any time through your device's Developer Options or the Shizuku app itself.
- No data collection: GFX Tools does not use Shizuku or iADB access to collect, transmit, or store any additional personal data beyond what is already described in Section 3.
7. How to Delete Your Data
You can request deletion of the data GFX Tools stores about you (your device identifier and associated ad-free purchase/package record in Firebase) at any time by contacting us:
- By email: Send your deletion request to bahranclone@gmail.com. Please mention that your request relates to GFX Tools so we can locate and remove the corresponding record from our Firebase database.
- Processing time: We aim to process and confirm data deletion requests within a reasonable time after receiving them.
Please note: deleting this data will also end any active ad-free period tied to your device, since the ad-free status is verified against this record. If you still have time remaining on a paid ad-free package, consider this before requesting deletion. Data deletion does not affect purchase records held by Google Play itself, which are managed separately under Google's own policies.
8. In-App Purchases
Ad-removal packages (7-day, 15-day, and 30-day) are purchased through Google Play's in-app billing system. Payment information (card details, billing address, etc.) is handled entirely by Google Play and is never accessed, seen, or stored by GFX Tools. We only receive confirmation of the purchase and the package duration, which is then linked to your device identifier as described in Section 4.
9. Third-Party Advertising (AdMob)
This application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect certain information to display ads, including but not limited to:
- Advertising ID,
- Ad interaction data,
- Device information (device type, operating system, etc.).
The collection and use of data by AdMob are governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. If you purchase an ad-removal package, ads will stop showing for the duration of your active package, but this does not affect data previously collected by AdMob.
10. GDPR Compliance (General Data Protection Regulation)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), GFX Tools complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
As a user, you have the following rights:
- The right to be informed about how your data is processed,
- The right to opt out of personalized advertising,
- The right to request restriction or deletion of the device identifier and purchase data stored in Firebase, using the methods described in Section 7.
Consent for ad personalization may be requested through mechanisms provided by Google. You can manage your advertising preferences through your device settings or Google account.
11. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the app's core functions:
- Google Firebase — for storing device identifiers and ad-free purchase status,
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements,
- Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases.
12. Security
Purchase and device-identifier data stored in Firebase is protected using Google's standard cloud security infrastructure and access rules. We do not store payment details, and personal files accessed via storage permission are never uploaded to our servers. Nonetheless, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's Information
GFX Tools is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please use this application only with parental or guardian supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect new features that involve data such as Firebase syncing or storage access. Any changes will be posted on this page.
